Recipe: Fettuccine with fresh pesto

A quick and flavour-infused recipe that makes a treat out of lunch or dinner


Ingredients 

  •  2 cups fresh basil
  • 1 clove of garlic 
  •  ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 250g fresh fettuccine pasta  

Method

Combine basil, garlic, cheese and oil in a blender or food processor

Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water until tender, then drain

Toss pesto through pasta and serve, topped with a sprinkling of shredded basil
