Recipe: Pecan and pear salad

The colours of autumn come together in this creative, flavour-filled recipe.
Combine the grated carrot, pecans, sultanas/raisins and 2 tablespoons of the French dressing in a salad bowl. Toss and chill.
Drain pear and put 2 tablespoons of syrup into a small bowl together with dates and softened cream cheese. Mix until blended.
Fill each pear half with cream cheese mixture. Spoon the carrot mixture onto six salad plates covered with lettuce leaves and place one pear half on each plate.
