Delicious Picnic Chocolate Bar Balls Recipe

Keep hangry at bay with this healthy twist on a classic snack. Recipe by Luke Hines.


Serving size: 1 ball 35grams

Ingredients

  • 10 medjool dates, seeds removed, soaked in boiling water for 10 mins, drained
  • ¼ cup raw cashews
  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla bean powder
  • 4 tbs crushed peanuts
  • ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 4 tbs cacao powder
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbs maple syrup, honey or rice malt syrup
  • A pinch of salt

How to make

  • Place the ingredients into your processor and blend until the mixture is combined but still has lots of texture
  • Use your hands to press and shape the mixture into balls and place the balls into the fridge to set
